Solonje began her career in nonprofit fundraising and event production, and has worked with many organizations, including the Gay, Lesbian, & Straight Education Network, the Harlem School of the Arts, and the Initiative for a Competitive Inner City.
In 2012, she launched Den Entertainment, a boutique firm specializing in culture curation, immersive pop-ups, and artist management/ promotion. The Den family includes Swedish design collective 3xStudio, jazz/world musicians from over 60+ different countries from Argentina to Israel and Zimbabwe. Past partnerships included: NeueHouse, Amaya Mezcal Social Club, and JIMMY at the James.
Currently, she is an advisor for innovative culture conferences, produces events for conscious companies, programs music at membership clubs, designs and implements D&I conversations, as well as forges consultant + company partnerships for agencies. Clients include: Live Grey, Summit Series, Working Mother Media, Le Bain at the Standard Hotel, TLDEF and Soho House.
Solonje is a political activist speaking out on equality and human justice. She is a singer, performing as Solie, as well as with Exhibition, Xander Ferreira, Leo Genovese, and more.
She has a B.A. in Psychology and M.A in Broadcast Journalism.
